From the cabling to the owner’s report — one working system.
Hotel IT has two layers and one does not replace the other. The first is infrastructure: network, servers, cameras, telephone lines, fire safety, door locks. It is built together with the building, and changing it later is expensive.
The second layer is the operating systems: PMSProperty Management System — the software that runs reservations, check-in, room status and guest folios., channel manager, booking engine, point of sale. They sit on top of the first layer and do not work without it. If the network is weak, no software will save you.
We plan both layers together — from the size of the property, the number of rooms and who will actually use the system every morning. Then we select, negotiate the price with the vendor, implement and train the team.
Infrastructure, operating systems and control over vendors give nothing on their own. Together they give this: a guest checks in within a minute, a restaurant bill posts to the room automatically, in the morning the manager sees occupancy, revenue and cost on one screen, and at month end the owner receives a report whose figures agree with each other.
That is what simplifies three things: daily work, control and reporting. Skip one layer and the other two only half work.
